Plastic Bottle Pushchair
To celebrate their new range of fabrics made from recycled plastic bottles, Joie commissioned Sarah to create a pushchair sculpture from recycled plastic bottles.
Hundreds of plastic bottles were used to create the sculpture and each part of the bottle is used. Plastic bottle caps make up the framework, the main body of the bottle in the crib and the bottle bases were used to create the beautiful hood and the wheels.
Sarah says: ‘It was definitely a challenge to try to recreate a pushchair using plastic bottles but it was certainly enjoyable. My favourite part I think is the plastic bottle ends which are used to create the hood of the pram part. I also love that the wheels spin round!’
Joie exhibited Sarah’s creation at The Baby Show at the ExCel in London and it will now go on tour being exhibited at many baby shows around the UK.
