Flamingos - Leeds Castle
Leeds Castle commissioned Sarah to make a little flock of flamingos with the help of their visitors.
Over the weekend the visitors made hundreds of recycled feathers from waste plastics. Drawing round their hands onto plastic bags, bottles and packaging and decorating them made the gorgeous flamingo feathers. Sarah then stitched each feather onto the flamingo bodies.
Well done to everyone who took part in the workshops, you did a great job!
The flamingos were on display in the castle grounds as part of their festival of craft and design.
