Upcycled Sea Turtle
To highlight Sustainability Day in Bromley Sarah was commissioned to create a sea turtle made from waste plastics. Amongst all the rubbish are plastic bottles, bags, packaging, old tents, a popped paddling pool and an airbed.
Reusable bamboo bottles were distributed during the day to encourage the use of these reusable alternatives instead of single use water bottles. There are many businesses on the Bromley high street who have pledged to refill your water bottle for free.
As well as being able to have a look at the beautiful turtle, children were also able to make their very own upcycled baby turtle made from a plastic bottle to take home.
The turtle is now on display at The Glades Shopping Centre.
