Mexican street food chain, Wahaca have opened a new restaurant made from 8 recycled shipping containers in London.
Sarah’s Cola 10 ceiling lights are one of the main features of the interior design. With 6 of the pendants in total lighting up one of the dining areas the Cola 10s certainly are in keeping with the eco theme.
The restaurant is located on the terrace of the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank, with great views over the river.
Painted in a variety of bright colours that reflect the spirit of Mexico, the containers are arranged on two overhanging levels and are organized around a central glass atrium that lets in loads of natural light.
The restaurant opened in July 2012 and will be located on the Southbank for 18 months before being relocated so make sure you visit soon!
